About us

Our story

I never planned to build a beauty company.

After university, I took a job at a bank. It was respectable, secure, and everything I thought I was supposed to want.

But I was unhappy.

A few months later, I made a decision. I left the bank to follow something that had fascinated me for years: beauty and skincare.

I started as an intern at a beauty salon. For six months, I watched, listened, and learned. I discovered how the industry worked, what customers valued, and why trust mattered more than any sale.

Then I took my first real risk. I opened my own salon in Russia.

It taught me that business takes courage. You make decisions without knowing the outcome. You fail, learn, and try again.

Then came the pandemic. Everything changed.

I moved to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with a few ideas, years of experience, and the determination to build something bigger.

In 2020, I began experimenting with Korean skincare. Different products, prices, customers, and ways of selling.

Some ideas worked. Many didn’t. But every mistake taught me something.

In 2022, Agassi Cosmetics was officially born.

What started as a small idea grew into Agassi Group, a beauty business connecting Korean skincare, people, and opportunities across Central Asia.

Today, we have eight retail stores, a growing wholesale network, and a new direction dedicated to cosmetologists and dermatologists.

Our community has grown to more than 400,000 followers across social media.

But the numbers are not what make me proudest.

It’s the people.

The customers who trust us. The partners who grow with us. The team that turns difficult ideas into something real.

Building Agassi has been my greatest education. It has taught me to listen, question, experiment, and never become too comfortable.

I have learned that courage gets you started, discipline keeps you going, and good people make the impossible possible.

Years ago, I sat behind a desk at a bank, wondering if there was something more to life.

Today, I’m building that something.

And we’re just getting started.
